Co-op Services Credit Union To Host “Paying For College” Workshop

Livonia, MI (April 4, 2005) – The cost of higher education is becoming even higher. Co-op Services Credit Union is inviting parents to attend a special educational workshop on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 6 p.m. at the Livonia Community Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard Road in Livonia.

Mark Minder, the MEMBERS Financial Services Representative, who serves the members of Co-op Services Credit Union, will lead the workshop.

“We’ll give parents and grandparents information about sources available for college funding, the benefits of Education IRAs and state-sponsored plans, and the effect of taxes on your investments, “ said Minder. “There will also be time to answer individual questions about choosing funding options.”
