Community Financial Makes Healthy Commitment to Otsego Memorial Hospital
Credit Union Pledges $10,000 to Capital Campaign
Gaylord, MI – (Jan. 24, 2005) Community Financial recently pledged $10,000 to Otsego Memorial Hospital’s Capital Campaign to assist with a comprehensive expansion project.
“Community Financial recognizes the many services that Otsego Memorial Hospital provides to our members, staff and community,” said the credit union’s CEO
William Lawton. “In addition to the credit union’s strong commitment to education, we know how important it is to support the health of our community.
Deborah Allen, director of the Otsego Memorial Hospital Foundation, recently reported that pledges from Community Financial, other businesses, organizations and individuals have helped them exceed the campaign goal of $1.5 million for the expansion project, which is scheduled for completion in Spring 2006.
John Rakis, a longtime Gaylord resident and Community Financial mortgage specialist, said, “We are all impacted by the growth and stability of this outstanding regional hospital.”
